Our Story

We met in November of 2015, becoming quick friends and drawing close until beginning our relationship in June of 2016.
Our relationship grew steadily and through the following nine and a half years so did our bond, allowing us to uniquely support each other through a combination of shared experiences and life challenges around sight and processing.
That's not to say we agree on things. If ever! Music tastes, fashion and even "keep your hands off my chocolate!" Are frequent complaints of the Smith and Tyler household.

The Proposal

Catching Laura completely off guard, Nathan organised a dinner for the two of them, reserving a private room just for the two of them and enjoying a lovely three course meal over at Roslin Beach Hotel.
During the period between main meal and dessert, Nathan mentioned that he had a cramp and would stand up for a minute.
He crossed around to the other side of Laura, placed the ring box in her hand and asked the question.
Thankfully, she said yes, otherwise this website would be rather confusing!
